  3. Description:
  4.    HexView is a utility program that allows you to view any file in both 
  5.    hexadecimal and character format.  Any portion of the file may be
  6.    displayed and printed.  The SEARCH facility allows you to scan the
  7.    entire file for all occurrences of a character or hexadecimal string. 
  8.  
  9. System Requirements:
  10.    Microsoft Windows version 3.1 or above (including Windows 95).
  11.    VBRUN300.DLL
  12.  
  13. Installation:
  14.    If you received HexView directly from FSA or an authorized distributor,
  15.    install the program as follows:  From Program Manager, File Manager, or
  16.    Explorer, click on the RUN menu item, and type D:SETUP to install the
  17.    program, where D is the diskette drive containing the installation disk-
  18.    ette.  The setup program will guide you through installation.

  20.    If you received HexView from a bulletin board or online service, make 
  21.    sure the SETUP program is not missing because it is required to de-
  22.    compress the program and data files.

  24.    NOTE: VBRUN300 IS REQUIRED FOR THE SETUP PROGRAM!

  26. Running HexView:
  27.    When executing HexView, you may optionally specify a file to be opened
  28.    from any "RUN" (Program Manager or File Manager) command line.  You may
  29.    also drag a file to the HEXVIEW.EXE program in the Windows File Manager
  30.    display.  Either method will cause the initial file open dialog to be
  31.    skipped and immediately start HexView with the file you have selected.  
  32.    HexView may be started "minimized" (by clicking "Run Minimized" in the
  33.    Program Manager "Properties" dialog) or you may minimize it at any time 
  34.    and drag-n-drop a file from File Manager to the minimized HexView icon.
